Tuesday 7th June The South West Coast Path from South Milton to Salcombe

Well not Dartmoor but it is in the background!

The Team ready at the car park by Thurlestone Rock with the forecast of very heavy and frequent showers.

Along the path towards Hope Cove with Bolt Tail in the backgroud

Descending into Hope Cove

Looking back to Hope Cove

Here you can just see Ugborough Beacon and Western Beacon on the south of Dartmoor - last week were up there looking out here..

Towards Bolberry Down

Then Soar Mill Cove at the bottom for lunch....

.... no white wine but a very beautiful beach

Then the long haul back up towards The Warren

Sharp Tor - just before here the showers finally caught up with us but it was only one and not very heavy - so we were lucky.  Just very bright sunshine and a cooling breeze - perfect walking conditions.

Finally Salcombe comes into view

Just one minor problem - we had to wait an hour for a taxi to get us back to the cars.

Walking today Bud, Chris, Roger, Terry, Rosemary, Brian and Linda
