Saturday 12th May Tavy Cleave

An extra walk today with the Bumford family. Starting at Lane End.  Up to the leat.

Following the leat around Nat Tor (168)...

...and into Tavy Cleave with Ger Tor above.

This being Ten Tors weekend a military helecopter came down just above us.

With the Dartmoor Rescue Group on Amicombe Hill,  where we stopped a while for a chat.

Leaving by a different route and looking back with Fur Tor in the distance.
