Another cool bright sunny day and time for somewhere different - the coast for a change - Strangles beach on the Cornish coast. We hadn't been here for about 30 years and remember it as a remote beach and one involving a bit of a scramble to get down to.
Going down - at least there are steps here now...
...it gets steeper...
...and steeper with a ladder at the bottom.
All those years ago the only way to get down was to slide and getting back up was difficult. Our one regret was that we hadn't brought a picnic to enjoy on the beach.
Time to go back up again and all those steps - with a rope to help to start with.
From here back to High Cliff to enjoy the views..
...south towards Tintagel...
...north past Bude
Finally, a short drive to Boscastle to enjoy the harbour.
