We started from the edge of Mary Tavy to walk around Gibbett Hill - without actually going over the top of it.
Very muddy and slippery ground.
The top of Gibbet Hill but we didn't go there.
Next across to Wheal Jewell Reservoir - this isn't the reservoir just flood water beside it.
The view across to Ger Tor and Standon Hill cloaked in the cloud.
A short break by the reservoir.
Heading back...
...past Wheal Betsy...
...and a stream to clean the mud of the dogs and our boots.
