Wednesday 4th May High Willhayes (again)

Very different lighting for this walk compared with last Friday afternoon.  Four of us set out from the car park at Meldon.

On the way up to High Willhayes as the sun was going down.

We just made it to High Willhayes as the sun finally disappeared. Very cold but a perfect evening to be up there.

...then walked along the ridge to Yes Tor.  Looking back at High Willhayes with the mast at Princetown just visible.

The view to the north as darkness descends.

Then it was down again with a route to avoid the clitter and time for the head torches. This is taken from the dam.

We accomplished our final objective which was to get to the Fox and Hounds before it closed!  With Brenda, Jon and Pete.
