Tuesday 6th November Cann Wood

On the day of the first real frost of the winter. A forest walk, not far from Plymouth, through the woods and starting from Plym Bridge.

Warm in the sunshine and cool in the shade of the woods

An easy walk on the forest trails.

Eventually arriving at Borringdon Camp an Iorn Age settlement built 350BC - looking over the ramparts towards Wooter

This is the remains of an old tramway used to move mined material to the railway line at Plym Bridge

Looks like a natural valley but all dug out to allow the tramway down the hill

On to the Skylark at Clearbrook. Walking with Roger, Linda, Terry, Rosemary and Charlie
