Eleven of us tonight.
Amazing that a bit of controversy actually gets people out walking. We started from the car park near the Warren House Inn and then went up to Kings Oven as the sun was setting.
From here across the moor to the road which leads into Fernworthy Forest and then along this road for a while. Dartmoor Rescue Group were here as well. Next up through the forest to the gate on Assycombe Hill and back to Kings Oven.

Then into the pub for the main debate. We didn't follow the democratic approach and take note of what had been requested. No, it was agreed that a programme of walks for the evening would be produced for the period up to Christmas and in addition there would be some informal walks in daylight on a Thursday. So this was better than democracy in that everyone got what they wanted or what they didn't even know they wanted. So simple really and the whole thing can be reviewed again at the end of the year. If only Cameron and Clegg could deliver on this level!
With John, Jon, Keith, Sue, Mike, Stella, Tony, Anne, Tom and Irving.
