So with no playmates time for a solo linear walk from South Zeal to Postbridge. Up on a green road from the main road to the open moor where there was a field of bluebells.
Over the open moor and eventually to the top of Cosdon Hill
In the distance Yes Tor, West Mill Tor, Oke Tor and Belstone Tor.
The route forwards with Fernworthy forest and Hangingstone Hill in the far distance.
Next to Little Hound Tor. Looking towards Hound Tor and Wild Tor.
Looking back to Taw Marsh...
.....and Cosdon Hill
Wild tor towards Hangingstone Hill
.........back with Steeperton Tor and Cosdon Hill
Then over Hangingstone Hill and through a wet patch by the Peat Pass
On to Quentin's Man and then to the ruin known as Stats House
Not far to the waterfall where for the first time on the walk other walkers were spotted.
Finally Postbridge came into view and time for an ice cream.
